The home of jump racing, Cheltenham Racecourse, has been revealed as the UK's most Instagrammable racecourse, according to new research from Suit Direct.
With a whopping 83,428 hashtagged photos on Instagram, Cheltenham eclipsed the competition with a clear lead over second place York, with Chester coming in third, Ascot fourth, Newmarket fifth and Aintree sixth.
Although the result may come as no surprise to anyone that's been to Cheltenham Racecourse, which boasts spectacular views over the Cotswold countryside, fashionable attendees and, of course, the world-famous Cheltenham Festival.
The research also shared some top tips from photographer Richard Wilson, for anyone wanting to capture some spectacular snaps at the event this March 2023: 'Where possible, use ‘portrait mode’ as it will give a better depth of field and add to that professional look.
'Stand at a 45-degree angle, and don’t shoot directly with the sun behind you, as you’ll become a silhouette.
'If in a group, try and separate matching colours and have an alternate outfit in between two similar styles.'
Cheltenham Festival takes place from Tuesday 14 to Friday 17 March 2023 at Cheltenham Racecourse.
