As well as being the county's leading business awards, entered by hundreds of Gloucestershire-based businesses each year who are all jostling for a chance at recognition from an esteemed local judging panel, the Gloucestershire Business Awards are also an unmissable networking opportunity.
Whether you're a category partner looking to get to know new businesses, or a company that's made it through as a finalist and wants to make the most of their moment to shine, here's why you won't want to miss your chance to attend.

Why should finalists attend the Gloucestershire Business Awards?
After rigorous shortlisting by the SoGlos team and a months-long judging phase, the pinnacle of the whole awards, the Gloucestershire Business Awards ceremony, doesn't just offer the chance to take home a trophy, it's a first-rate networking opportunity, with around 400 representatives from the very best businesses in Gloucestershire and high-calibre headline and category partners all together in one place.
Every business which makes it through as a finalist gets invited to the awards ceremony, along with our headline and category partners, where they're all treated to a welcome drink and a street food supper, before the winners are announced.
From start-ups and solo entrepreneurs to huge global players, the event provides a chance to get to know fellow businesses in a party atmosphere – much less 'stuffy' than formal, traditional awards events – with SoGlos's relaxed approach being one of the things attendees consistently tell us is their favourite thing about the Gloucestershire Business Awards.
Representing sectors spanning construction, manufacturing, aerospace, accountancy, professional services, cyber security, IT, recruitment, marketing and more, attendees can make new contacts they wouldn't otherwise have met – as well as showcasing the products and services they can offer to other businesses.
And, if it turns out that you're a winner, you won't want to miss your moment in the spotlight, as you take to the stage to collect your trophy and have an interview with one of the SoGlos team in our exclusive backstage media zone.

How much do the Gloucestershire Business Awards cost to attend?
The Gloucestershire Business Awards are completely free to attend for finalists.
Unlike other local awards ceremonies, there are no tables to book, no three-course dinners to sit through and absolutely no fees to pay for winning!
When are the Gloucestershire Business Awards 2025?
The Gloucestershire Business Awards take place on Thursday 6 November 2025 at Cheltenham Town Hall – with invitations going out via email when finalists are announced on Monday 13 October 2025.
