Cotswold Wedding Packages

Owlpen Manor

About the venue

Owlpen Manor is an impressive Tudor Manor House, set within a 215-acre estate, nestled deep in the Cotswold valley near to Uley. Licensed for civil ceremonies in its Great Hall and Cyder Barn, the venue can host ceremonies for up to 100 guests, and boasts evening reception space for up to 200 people. Owlpen Manor’s experienced in-house catering team works closely with couples to ensure their perfect day has the perfect menu, and also offers nine holiday cottages on site, which can sleep up to 36 guests after the festivities.

What’s included

Packages at Owlpen Manor are based on the size of ceremony room that couple pick, with options including the Cyder Barn and Marquee for weddings for up to 120 people; The Cyder Barn for up to 50 people; and the Manor Gardens for up to 200 people in an extensive marquee. Each package includes exclusive hire of the stunning venue and its grounds, use of a wedding co-ordinator to support the couple through the planning process, deluxe portaloos, tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery, flood lighting, cake knife and table, parking, use of games area, and the set up of a marquee.

If you’re booking a weekend wedding package at Owlpen Manor, your guests can camp overnight and have full use of the gorgeous grounds the following day for barbeques, parties and games – providing a fantastic opportunity to extend the family fun.

How much?

The Cyder Barn and Marquee package costs £5,220 for weekends throughout June, July and August; £4,750 for weekends in April, May and September; £3,750 for weekdays between April and October; and £3,750 for weekends between November and March. The Cyder Barn costs £4,250 for weekends between May and October; £3,000 for weekends between November and April; and £2,600 for weekdays. The Manor Gardens are available to book from £8,600 for weekend weddings between April and September; and £7,600 on weekdays during the summer months.

The Slaughters Manor House

About the venue

Become Lord and Lady of the Manor for a weekend, with a wedding at The Slaughters Manor House. This luxurious country house hotel offers exclusive use for weddings of up to 86 daytime guests and 120 evening guests.

Situated in the chocolate box Cotswold village of Lower Slaughter, the 17th century manor house is just a stone’s throw from the local church, providing a range of options for couples wanting to enjoy a decadent and traditional wedding in an idyllic location. Couples planning their big day can enjoy assistance from the venue’s dedicated events coordinator, who can help to create an unforgettable day of celebration.

What’s included

The Exclusively Yours wedding package is based on a minimum of 40 daytime guests, and includes exclusive use of The Slaughters Manor House’s enchanting gardens, stunning main house and coach house, along with all 19 guest rooms and suites. Guests will enjoy a glass of prosecco upon arrival, alongside a selection of canapés, before sitting down to a delicious five-course wedding breakfast.

Ending with tea, coffee and petit fours, guests will each enjoy half a bottle of red or white wine to accompany their meal – chosen by The Slaughters Manor House’s resident sommelier.

To toast the bride and groom, guests will each receive a glass of champagne, with an evening buffet to enjoy at the reception. Promising unrivalled views across The Slaughters Manor’s gardens and the stunning village beyond, wedding guests can enjoy a luxurious overnight stay in one of the venue’s 19 guest rooms and suites. Combining indulgent bathrooms with contemporary furnishings, four-poster beds and spacious sofas, these rooms each have their own unique character.

Some bedrooms are located in the main house, while others are housed in the venue’s stunning courtyard area. An exclusive use hire of The Slaughters Manor House includes the hire of all 19 guest rooms and suites, with a full English breakfast in the morning.

How much?

The Exclusively Yours package is available from Sundays to Fridays between November and March from £11,680, alternatively Saturdays between November and March start at £16,680 with prices based on a minimum of 40 guests.

For weddings on Sundays to Fridays between April and October prices start at £18,250 based on a minimum of 60 guests, while Saturdays between April and October start from £25,800 based on a minimum of 70 guests.

Gloucester Wedding Packages

Hatton Court Hotel

About the venue

Hatton Court Hotel is an elegant ivy-clad country house, situated near the village of Upton St Leonards, but just three miles away from Gloucester city centre. Oozing chocolate-box charm, this gorgeous venue is a picturesque spot, certain to provide a beautiful backdrop to your wedding photos. Couples can exchange their vows in the hotel’s pretty gardens under the bandstand, or inside of The Cotswold Room, which can accommodate up to 80 guests. The venue also offers the option of a marquee wedding for up to 250 guests.

What’s included

Package options span the Lily Package which includes exclusive use of the hotel grounds from midday until 11am the following day, 45 hotel bedrooms, and additional highlights including a professional evening disco, a three-course wedding breakfast, flower arrangements, chair covers and a four-poster bridal suite for the wedding night, and much more. Other packages are the Ivy Package which offers a selection of three canapes, Champagne on arrival, a master of ceremonies, floral centrepieces, a cake, evening entertainment, wedding breakfast and much more; Hazel which includes a full package of entertainment, food and décor with an evening buffet of sausage and bacon baps; and the Holly package which offers food, venue, cake and evening buffet for 60 guests, as well as providing the happy couple a gorgeous bridal suite for the wedding night.

Elmore Court

About the venue

An impressive stately home located just a stone’s throw from the River Severn in Gloucester, Elmore Court has a number of beautiful spaces that can be used for hosting ceremonies, drinking, dining and dancing. As an exclusive use venue, couples can invite friends and family to enjoy the venue’s stunning gardens and traditionally styled rooms, before partying the night away in a more contemporary sustainable timber structure known as The Gillyflower. Dating back to 1580, the venue combines Elizabethan and Victorian architecture, and offers 16 lovingly curated bedrooms, and four reception rooms – The Hall, Dining Room, Drawing Room and Morning Room. Evening celebrations can commence in The Gillyflower – Elmore’s fully soundproofed annex ballroom, described as a ‘future-rustic’ venue for dinner and dancing. Equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment, it’s the ideal location for live music, DJs and impassioned celebration!

What’s included

The venue is able to host civil and other ceremonies inside, but Christian marriages and blessings can be held in the gorgeous Elmore Church, just down the road. Included in the hire price are 16 bedrooms which can accommodate 39 people, with the option to sleep more if necessary.

The couple and their guests can enjoy exclusive use of the private house and gardens, The Gillyflower, Coach House, and will also benefit from an exclusive wedding website, civil ceremony licence, and the use of a wedding coordinator who’ll assist throughout the planning of your big day. Chairs for the service are made available, alongside the use of Elmore Court’s four reception rooms.

When evening arrives, guests can enjoy a fully staffed bar inside The Gillyflower, along with tables and chairs for up to 200 people. The high-tech soundproofed venue is equipped with a dance floor and stage, a cake stand and knife, and display easel for a table plan.

Prices vary throughout the year with Saturdays in June, July and August priced at £14,000 for exclusive hire. While those looking for a more budget-friendly option can enjoy a Thursday wedding for £6,000.

Cheltenham Wedding Packages

Ellenborough Park
