Bamboo Technology has started welcoming staff back to work after moving to a new office at Gloucestershire College’s Cheltenham campus.

Located close to GCHQ, and Cheltenham’s new Cyber Business Park development, the new premises will double Bamboo Technology’s capacity, as well as diversify its working environment – providing new client workshop spaces, tech hubs and system configuration areas.

Gloucestershire College’s chief financial officer, Andy Bates, said: ‘We’re excited to strengthen our partnership with such a thriving, industry-leading company as Bamboo Technology, particularly during this period of adjustment and uncertainty in business.

‘With Cheltenham campus forming part of the town’s growing reputation as the cyber capital of the UK… it makes perfect sense for Bamboo to make the most of our location, facilities and services.’

Bamboo’s managing director, Lorrin White, said: ‘This is a very exciting move for the business and an essential milestone in enabling us to achieve our ambitious growth plans and continued buy and build strategy. The team at Bamboo are also looking forward to working closely with Gloucestershire College.

‘Collaboration and education are key elements in attracting new talent into our industry and driving innovation, and the college has afforded us a fantastic opportunity to work with them in a technology hot spot that will nurture and educate a critical talent pool.’

Bamboo Technology joins other businesses at Gloucestershire College’s Cheltenham campus, including business management solutions company, CloudTamers, and aviation training service provider, Global ATS.
