Editor's Choice FreeFamilies can look forward to seeing some of the town’s iconic buildings lit up in a spectacular show during February as Light Up Cheltenham returns from Saturday 2 February to Sunday 24 February 2019.
With this year’s event featuring a giant observation wheel and a family-friendly launch event, SoGlos has rounded up some of the highlights below.
A first for Cheltenham, a giant observation wheel will be placed in Imperial Gardens and will be a whopping 35 metres high. Families, friends and visitors can take a ride on the giant wheel and take in the views over Cheltenham and beyond.
Bigger and better than ever before, the number of buildings lit up across the town will change colours over the three weeks, turning red on Thursday 14 February 2019 to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Meanwhile, buildings including The Brewery Quarter, Boots Corner and the Municipal Offices will all be lit up too.
