Cotswold Country Park and Beach is reopening in June

Gloucestershire’s very own beach and swimming lagoon, Cotswold Country Park and Beach, is reopening this June – for family day out on the sand, all with social distancing measures in place.

Popular Cotswolds family day out destination, Cotswold Country Park and Beach, will be reopening and welcoming visitors back from Saturday 6 June 2020.

Gloucestershire’s beach and swimming lagoon, near Cirencester – the largest inland paddling beach in the UK – has been closed since lockdown began.

Various safety measures have been introduced to keep Cotswold Country Park and Beach customers safe, including a significant reduction in capacity, a one-way system in operation at the park and strict two metre social distancing. Food outlets will also be open for takeaways only.

As well as enjoying a day on the sand at Cotswold Country Park and Beach, families can pre-book barbecues, pedalos and mini golf, but Aquaventure and High Ropes will remain closed until current guidelines change.
