Little stars have a chance to shine at Dunkertons Cider this February half term – as the cidery joins forces with IK Productions to host two interactive drama workshops for children aged seven to 16.
Providing fantastic family-friendly entertainment on Tuesday 22 February 2022, each workshop is designed for a separate age group – and perfect for any budding performers or theatre-loving children, whatever their stage experience.
Children aged seven to 11, in Years 3 to 6, can tap into their imagination and take part in drama activities from 10am, with a focus on traditional fairy tales and finding new ways to tell old stories.
While young people aged 11 to 16, in Years 7 to 11, can unlock their creativity in a two-hour drama workshop from 2pm, with an emphasis on classic stories and finding new, innovative ways to bring them to life.
Promising to be fun, interactive and engaging, the sessions are led by professional performers from IK Productions, the zany theatre company that has staged sell-out productions of Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast at Dunkertons Cider.
It’s a great way for children to flex their creative muscles, make new friends with similar interests and build confidence as they learn new skills.
This is the first of many events planned between Dunkertons Cider and IK Productions, with plenty more drama workshops, alfresco theatre productions and themed events – including murder mystery evenings – coming throughout 2022.
