Don’t throw away your broken belongings – Gloucester’s Kendal Road Baptist Church is hosting a repair café this March 2022 to mend well-loved possessions and restore them back to their former glory.

Instead of leaving your damaged belongings gathering dust or throwing them away, pop along to the repair café at Kendal Road Baptist Church in Gloucester, this May 2022.

On Saturday 28 May 2022 – and every fourth Saturday of the month – a team of talented repairers will be able to refresh and rejuvenate your once loved possessions such as boxes, vacuums, textiles and more, giving them a new lease of life.

Repair cafés take a sustainable approach to belongings, helping to extend their longevity and reducing the number of items that get discarded and replaced – so repairable household items don’t end up in landfill.

As well as being a more environmentally-friendly approach, visitors will also be able to learn valuable repair skills at the sessions, which they can continue using at home.
