Heart of the Forest school in Coleford is inviting local businesses to engage with its pupils and find out how they can support them as they venture into the world of work.

Entering the working world can be a daunting experience for any young person leaving school.

For businesses looking to make a difference in the local community, the Heart of the Forest Business Breakfast is an event offering the chance to discover how companies can assist young people with disabilities and provide support for accessing job opportunities.

On Thursday 19 June 2025, businesses are invited to attend a morning event at the school that's designed to 'strengthen connections' within the Forest of Dean's business community while connecting its members with the school's careers and work experience programmes.

Taking place from 8am until 10am, the session poses a great opportunity to form mutually beneficial relationships between companies and pupils — with those involved able to offer young people equal access to the same opportunities as other students in the district.

The event is free to attend but those interested must register via an online form — search Heart of the Forest Business Breakfast for full details.
