Finance seminar with Bishops Fleming in Cheltenham

Taking place on Tuesday 4 June 2024 at Cheltenham Racecourse, leading Gloucestershire accountancy firm Bishop Fleming is hosting its big annual finance seminar.

Tailored for business owners and senior finance professionals, expect a deep dive into tax, accountancy, advisory and general business matters, with expert guest speakers and a decent lunch provided, too. Curry Club with Tayntons Solicitors in Gloucester

A unique way to lunch with local businesses, this bi-monthly networking event from Gloucester-based Tayntons Solicitors presents the chance to meet up in an informal setting while digging into some classic Indian flavours.

Bringing local businesses together in a laidback setting, the popular Curry Club returns on Wednesday 5 June 2024 from 12pm to 2pm at the Nepalese Chef in Gloucester. Tickets cost £26 per person and include a starter and a main course, with a variety of classic curries on offer. Two-day podcasting masterclass with Alice Violet Creative in Gloucester

Helping wannabe and pro-podcasters master the art of digital storytelling, cyber and digital expert Alice Violet brings her passion for digital content to The University of Gloucestershire's Business School for two intensive days on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 June 2024.

Day one is all about podcast creative strategy: learning how to brainstorm, host, select guests and more; whereas day two focuses on the practical side of choosing kit, recording and editing. Online recruitment masterclass with Marvel FMCG

The recruitment experts at Marvel FMCG are not only breaking ground with the introduction of a four-day week for all of its staff, but also in its approach to diversity and inclusion, with the founders regularly posting awareness about their own experiences of neurodivergency.

Make your business resilient with The Growth Hub in Gloucester

In collaboration with IT support firm, Westway IT, The Growth Hub Gloucestershire hosts a business resilience workshop at its Gloucester base at the University of Gloucestershire's Oxstalls campus on Friday 21 June 2024.

From 9.30am to 12.30pm, you will learn how to risk plan, mitigate potential business disasters and make your company more resilient. Tickets cost £15 per person and you can sign up via Eventbrite.

Lodders' 10th anniversary party in Cheltenham

Award-winning Cheltenham law practice, Lodders Solicitors, is celebrating 10 strong years in Gloucestershire with a big marquee party on Thursday 27 June 2024. Lodders opened its Cheltenham office in 2013, moving to its current spot in the town centre in 2018.
