Combining the chance to see Santa deliver his presents on skis and spend a happy half hour whizzing down the slopes, Santa tubing sessions at Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre are open to big kids and small this Christmas.
While children can expect a gift from Santa, as well as a hot chocolate at the end of their session, adults enjoying this festive take on tubing can look forward to hot chocolate and mince pies.
For the uninitiated, 'tubing' is one of the easiest snow sports around, with zero experience required; simply hold on tight as you speed down the slope on an inflatable ring or ‘tube’.
Santa tubing, which is suitable for ages four and up, runs throughout December and costs £18 per person for a 30-minute session, starting at 4pm, 6pm or 8pm.
As an added bonus, Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre is giving away prizes such as skiing lessons, snowboarding and tubing sessions, vouchers for snowsports equipment and meals in the on-site café, Eddie's Ski Shack.
