For anyone thinking about throwing away their worn-out or damaged clothes, breathe new life into your previously loved items at Stroud’s repair café, this March 2022.

Taking place on the last Saturday of every month from Saturday 26 March 2022, residents are encouraged to bring along their damaged garments and fixer-uppers to the Atelier Craft Club and Workshops in Stroud.

Handy volunteers will be there to assist with all kinds of textile repairs, as well as helping visitors learn valuable repair skills to reduce the number of items ending up in landfill in the county, not to mention increasing the longevity of much-loved belongings.

A new skill will be featured each month, with future pop-up repair sessions set to include tool, knife and scissor sharpening, as well as leather and electronic repairs.
