What to expect from The Berkeley Castle Joust?
Spectators are in for a thrilling day as the valiant White Knight faces down the dastardly Black Knight in an exhilarating medieval battle.
Excitement will fill the air as audience members pick a side and cheer for their hero as the mighty warriors clash – with the action all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Berkeley Castle.
The entertainment doesn't stop at the arena either, as the ever-hilarious Sir Frederick will be on hand with his jolly antics and sharp wit, ensuring non-stop laughter for audiences young and old throughout each day.

When is The Berkeley Castle Joust?
The Joust returns to Berkeley Castle on Sunday 30 and Monday 31 August 2026.
The castle is open from 11am to 5pm, with The Joust performances taking place at 12.30pm and 2.30pm each day.
How much are tickets to The Berkeley Castle Joust?
Joust tickets cost £19 for adults, £11 for children aged three to 16 and are free for under threes, and allow access to all the day's entertainment, as well as the castle and grounds.
Family tickets for two adults and two children are also available for £52.
