Bonnie & Clyde may have been cancelled — but don't worry! A group of improv heroes have stepped in to bring the spontaneous musical comedy, Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, to the Everyman Theatre this July 2024, direct from London's West End.

On stage in Cheltenham from Thursday 11 to Saturday 13 July 2024, following 11 sell-out years at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, two West End runs, an Olivier award and a BBC Radio 4 series, audiences can expect rip-roaring comedy — with every night a new premiere.

In the show, spectators meet a writer of musicals who is on a deadline and needs their help. To kick the show off, the audience is required to shout out suggestions for a setting, musical styles and the title of the production.

Packed with drama, dazzling dance routines and catchy melodies, The Showstopper team — cast and band — then weave a brand-new musical live in front of the audience, featuring hilarious characters, marvellous dance routines, songs and impressive story lines, all sprinkled with the zing of a Broadway show.

So whether you fancy a new take on Little Shop of Horrors or Hamilton featuring modern day characters, you suggest it and The Showstoppers will sing it!

Perhaps you can get them to perform a brand-new version of Bonnie & Clyde, right here in Cheltenham?
