This Christmas, Cirencester's Barn Theatre hosts Stiles and Drewe's multi-award-winning ugly duckling musical, Honk! – bringing a modern new edge to this enchanting story.
What to expect from Honk! at Barn Theatre
Ugly the duckling is always being teased for his looks by his siblings and friends down at the pond – but when he gets lost and faces the very real risk of being eaten alive, the wild goose chase he goes on to find his way back home, actually helps him find himself.
Written by Hans Christian Anderson, this heart-warming tale of mistaken identities, family, and friendship is sure to enchant everyone who sees it no matter what their age, and has even been likened to The Lion King musical.
With a visually spectacular set and a Broadway and West End star-studded cast, the new Built By Barn production brings a radical new edge and updated music to this beloved Olivier Award-winning musical, which promises to be one of the highlights of the festive season in the Cotswolds.
