Hotel Indigo Gloucester is hosting its first Christmas in the city – and it's pulling out all the stops with glamorous party nights, seasonal set menus and showstopping celebrations all taking place this November and December 2026.
Sales manager, Wyatt Davis, expressed his excitement about hosting the hotel's first festive season, saying: 'This is our first Christmas at Hotel Indigo Gloucester, and we’re looking forward to all the celebrations throughout the season.
'We’re proud of the menus that we will offer, featuring fresh local ingredients and honest flavours. Whether you’d like to join us for a festive lunch, Christmas party night, or on Christmas Day – or perhaps for more than one – you can expect first-class service and a memorable meal.'
Here's what's on offer at the four-star hotel this festive season...
Christmas parties at Hotel Indigo Gloucester

See Gloucester sparkle from high above the city skyline at Hotel Indigo Gloucester's rooftop bar, Crimson Spire, with Christmas party nights every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from Friday 27 November until Saturday 19 December 2026.
Christmas party night guests each receive a welcome cocktail and a selection of Christmas canapés – including coronation chicken tarts, Bloody Mary gazpacho shots, honey-glazed pigs in blankets, Forest of Dean wild mushroom bruschetta, and mini mince pies – while they enjoy live entertainment from a magician and a DJ, with a photobooth for capturing fun festive photos.
Christmas party nights cost £30 per person on Thursdays, and £45 per person on Fridays and Saturdays, with soft, standard and premium drinks packages available, too.

While in the West Window restaurant, there's a seasonal set menu available every day during December, ideal for festive meals with friends, family or colleagues.
Diners can enjoy spiced butternut squash soup, wild mushroom arancini with truffle mayonnaise, or potted hot smoked salmon with dill creme fraiche to start; turkey ballotine with stuffing and pigs in blankets, slow-cooked pork belly, baked haddock with Double Gloucester rarebit, or beetroot wellington for the main course, all served with seasonal vegetables and roast potatoes; and Christmas pudding with brandy custard, chocolate orange torte, or mulled winterberry Eton Mess to finish.
The festive set menu at West Window costs £40 for two courses or £45 for three.
Private parties at Hotel Indigo Gloucester

Hotel Indigo Gloucester offers two versatile spaces for private parties. Crimson Spire provides a showstopping venue which can be hired exclusively for up to 150 guests, or separated into smaller, private spaces for 30, 40 or 50 guests.
While The Bridge, with its views over Gloucester Cathedral, can accommodate up to 50 for drinks receptions, it can be reconfigured for private dining, too.
Christmas Day dining at Hotel Indigo Gloucester

The hotel is also open on Christmas Day, offering a six-course festive lunch to celebrate.
Guests will start with a crisp glass of prosecco and a selection of bread with whipped butter on the table as they arrive.
Starters include everything from baked camembert, duck liver and port pâté, and spiced cauliflower soup; while for the main course, diners can choose from bronze turkey with apricot stuffing, pigs in blankets and goose fat roast potatoes, slow-cooked blade of beef with truffle mash, pan-fried sea bass with saffron crushed potatoes, or pumpkin gnocchi with sage cream and roasted chestnuts.
There's a green apple sorbet palette cleanser before dessert, with Christmas pudding with brandy custard, Baileys cheesecake, white and dark chocolate roulade, or a Cotswold cheese plate on the menu, followed by petit fours and coffee to finish.
Christmas Day dining at Hotel Indigo Gloucester costs £130 per person, with a children's menu available for £35 per child.
Celebrate New Year's Eve at Hotel Indigo Gloucester
And on New Year's Eve, Hotel Indigo Gloucester invites revellers to enjoy a festive sit-down meal at West Window, before heading upstairs to Crimson Spire to ring in the new year from the rooftop, with cocktails and canapés, a live band and DJ, not to mention panoramic views of the firework displays across the city as the clock hits midnight.
New Year's Eve dining costs £75 per person for two courses, or £85 per person for three – and guests can join for just the meal, just the party, or both.
