Offering a chance to meet the newest spring baby animals, Cotswold Farm Park will open its gates for the first time this year with the return of live lambing and kidding from Monday 14 February until Sunday 24 April 2022.
And with 600 ewes and plenty of nanny goats due to give birth, there is a good chance visitors might even see a live birth too!
As well as lambs and kids, the popular attraction near Cheltenham is also due to welcome a wide variety of newborns including piglets and guinea pigs, which visitors can get up close to.
Plus, the Farm Park’s experts will also be giving daily lambing talks in the Animal Barn, so visitors can learn more about the ewes, too.
Back after a two year break due to Covid-19 restrictions, Adam Henson said: ‘Lambing is one of the most exciting times of the year in the farming calendar, so I’m looking forward to getting visitors involved in all of the action and seeing the 600 ewes give birth.’
Due dates can vary, but it’s expected that lambing season will take place from Thursday 17 February to Monday 7 March, followed by kidding from Friday 11 to Saturday 26 March; with lambing picking up again from Saturday 26 March to Sunday 24 April 2022.
