Offering specialist dementia care in Gloucestershire and beyond, The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT), which operates The Lakes Care Centre in South Cerney, is running a virtual event, Living Well with Dementia, from 2.30pm to 3.45pm on Wednesday 18 May 2022.

Open to all, the online event is being led by some of the specialist nursing staff who support OSJCT care homes across the trust.

Admiral Nurses are supported and developed by Dementia UK, with OSJCT being one of the few care providers to employ its own.

As well as sharing advice on how to live well with dementia, they will also talk about how to support loved ones at home.

Participants will have the chance to ask any questions they have – and the session is free to attend, too.

The Lakes Care Centre offers an innovative and practical approach to caring for those living with dementia with the whole team having completed dementia-specific training to help them understand the needs of a person living with dementia.
