Gloucester Quays Food Festival is back this July 2025 with live cooking demos from celebrity chefs and Great British Bake Off Stars.

Bringing over 160 market stalls, free family entertainment and a host of celebrity chefs and TV stars to town, Gloucestershire foodies are in for a real treat as Gloucester Quays Food Festival returns this July 2025.

Enjoy two delicious days of live cooking demonstrations from your favourite chefs in the open-air cookery theatre while tucking into the tastiest street food the south west has to offer on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July 2025.

Alongside the celebs, visitors can enjoy browsing for delicious local produce at market stalls selling everything from fresh local produce, tasty bakes and cakes to artisan alcohol and cheese, sipping local beers and cocktails from the event’s pop-up bars and enjoying live music at Orchard Square throughout the weekend, with children's entertainment planned, too.

Plus, the cooking demonstrations are all free to watch, giving audiences a rare chance to see their favourite foodie stars up-close without forking out for a ticket.

Here's who's on the lineup this year...

Saturday lineup at Gloucester Quays Food Festival

TV presenter, chef and author Chris Bavin is hosting the Cookery Theatre at Mariners Square across the weekend. Founder of The Naked Grocer – one of the UK's first no-plastic retail businesses – Chris has presented shows including the BBC's Eat Well for Less; Tomorrow's Food; The Truth About Meat; and is a regular reporter on The One Show. A familiar face at food festivals across the country, his live cooking demonstrations are informative and entertaining.

Joining Chris on Saturday is This Morning star, cookbook author and celebrity chef Phil Vickery. He's been cooking live on ITV's flagship weekday morning show for 22 years, has a background at Michelin-starred restaurants and is considered one of Britain's favourite chefs.

Spicing things up on Saturday is respected chef, author and presenter Cyrus Todiwala. Chef-proprietor of acclaimed London restaurant Café Spice Namasté – which once held the title of the longest-running Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant in the world – Cyrus also sells a range of condiments and meal kits under his Mr Todiwala's brand and was awarded an MBE for services to the restaurant and catering industry in 2000.

And bringing sweet treats to the Cookery Theatre stage, Great British Bake Off 2024 winner, Georgie Grasso, completes Saturday's lineup.

Sunday lineup at Gloucester Quays Food Festival

Bristol-born chef, MasterChef runner-up and more recently, TikTok sensation, Dean Edwards takes to the stage on Sunday. Resident chef on ITV's Lorraine, he's most well-known for his affordable, family-friendly recipes, accessible approach to cooking and cheeky personality, all of which have made him a firm favourite with viewers.

Alongside Dean, Saturday Kitchen host, cookbook author and chef Matt Tebbutt is also cooking live on Sunday. From getting his diploma from Leith's School of Food and Wine, working for Marco Pierre White and Alastair Little, to hosting a variety of foodie shows on the BBC and Channel 4, as well as regularly contributing to food and travel magazines, Matt's demo is not-to-be-missed!

Rounding off the lineup on Sunday is GBBO 2024 runner-up Christiaan De Vries. Impressing the judges with his bold flavour choices and ambitious bakes, earning him three Hollywood Handshakes and two Star Baker accolades, Christiaan splits his time between the Netherlands and the UK, sharing his passion for baking on Dutch TV and Instagram.

Gloucester Quays Food Festival is free to attend, but visitors are advised to arrive early for the chance to see their favourite chefs cooking live, as places in the Cookery Theatre are first-come, first-served.
