Westonbirt's In Tune With Nature trail invites visitors to press pause on the 'quiet noise of everyday life', using their senses to discover the arboretum's restorative energy.

Escape the overwhelm of digital distractions and connect with nature this summer, on a new walking trail offering an uplifting sensory experience at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum.

What to expect on Westonbirt Arboretum's In Tune With Nature trail?

The arboretum is inviting visitors to slow down and reconnect with the living world this summer, through its In Tune With Nature trail.

Created for all ages, the trail encourages participants to pause and be present – tuning in to birdsong, rustling leaves and dappled light – whilst discovering how time among trees can soothe the mind and lift the spirit.

After picking up a trail map from the Welcome Building, visitors will discover the 'quiet wonder' of trees as they walk the trail, using all of their senses: looking closely, breathing in their scent, feeling the textures, and listening to the subtle sounds.

Westonbirt says visitors might be surprised by what they find – 'tiny details, hidden beauty, and moments of calm that stay with you long after your walk is over. Your mind, body and senses will thank you'.
