Huge food court proposed to open in Cheltenham

Cheltenham could have a brand-new food court as plans have been proposed for street food vendors, a bakery and coffee shops inside Regent Arcade.

Cheltenham’s Regent Arcade could be getting a huge food court after plans have been submitted to Cheltenham Borough Council.

The plans for the food court include 10 street food vendors, a coffee concession, a florist, butchers, bakery and deli shop. If approved, the food court will replace plans for new restaurants which were submitted as part of the new boutique cinema construction.

Featuring plenty of seating and tables, a stage area and a large bar, the food court would be the first of its kind in Gloucestershire.

A decision on whether the food court will go ahead will be made in December 2019. Register for SoGlos’s email newsletter and follow SoGlos on Facebook at to be first to hear more.
