If you loved The Greatest Showman, The Bathurst Arms in North Cerney has you covered with a new theatrical dining experience in its riverside beer garden.

A 24-foot tipi has been converted into a marvellous circus-themed dining space, inspired by favourite local show, Giffords Circus.

With model zebras, a toy panther and twinkling fairy lights, the idea for the theatrical alfresco dining space came from local villager and loyal Bathurst customer, Fran Robbins.

Ahead of lockdown rules easing on Monday 12 April 2021, the magical outdoor venue was created to extend the Cotswold pub’s alfresco offering – with up to six people or two households now able to enjoy outdoor drinking and dining.

The circus tipi includes space for 40 extra seats for lunch and dinner – and with the new dining experience in place, The Bathurst Arms’s riverside beer garden can now serve up to 120 people safely.
