Gloucestershire County Council is hosting a new scheme to entertain children this summer.

This summer 2021, Gloucestershire County Council is offering free summer activities and food for children eligible for free school meals.

The Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) aims to keep children entertained, active, educated, safe and fed during the school holidays – in partnership with district councils, the voluntary sector and other organisations funded by the Department for Education.

There will be activities hosted across the county either in person, or online, from Monday 2 to Friday 27 August 2021 – with a meal or food kit being provided for each child too.

Each district will have its own dedicated page for families to find activities closest to them. Some of the in-person activities will require pre-booking, so make sure to check in advance.

For more information, call Gloucestershire County Council on (01452) 425060.
