Cowley Manor

Cowley Manor is open from Tuesday 4 July 2023, following a massive refurbishment project which has totally transformed the hotel, restaurant and spa.

Visitors can expect retro chic interiors, upscale casual dining and brand-new spa treatments as the iconic Cotswold hotel starts its new chapter under new owners, Experimental Group. 

The Living Room Cinema, Chipping Norton

Great news for film buffs, a brand-new state of the art cinema is inviting people to enjoy the latest releases in Chipping Norton from Friday 14 July 2023.

The boutique venue, The Living Room Cinema, features two auditoriums designed for audiences' comfort and experience, with the best in laser projection and Dolby 7.1 surround sound, as well as an on-site cafe-bar which will be open from morning until evening — ready to welcome you for a glass of wine, cup of specialty coffee, hand-stretched pizza or whatever takes your fancy.

Moolicious, Cheltenham

Located in the heart of Montpellier Courtyard and coining itself 'Cheltenham's number one milkshake bar with a twist', Moolicious will be serving up alcoholic cocktail milkshakes, smoothies and sweet treats to enjoy — just in time for the summer heat!

While an official opening date has not yet been confirmed, the milkshake bar is expected to open in July 2023.

The Drunken Duck, Gloucester

Perhaps Gloucester's smallest pub, The Drunken Duck opens in Gloucester on Saturday 1 July 2023 – boasting just four carefully selected real ales and two craft beers on tap.

Previously known as Angie's Bar, the tiny pub located on Bull Lane will focus on real and craft ale with weekly live music.

The Swan Inn, Broadway

The Swan Inn in Broadway is reopening on Thursday 13 July 2023, unveiling a new cosy and opulent look for the Grade II listed building, decorated with earthy, wooden tones, brass finishes and smooth leather.

What's more, the outdoor dining area has been transformed with the addition of private dining huts and a new dog-friendly bar area for visitors to enjoy during the warmer months.

Choux Bun Appetit, Stroud

Popular patisserie, Choux Bun Appetit, will take over the space inside Sandersons Boutique at Stroud's Five Valleys Shopping Centre from the owners of Italian coffee shop, Terra Cucina, from Saturday 1 July 2023.

The sweets spot will be serving up macarons, opera cakes, eclairs, cheesecakes and tarts. Plus, owner Josh Amrbidge will be expanding the menu, offering a range of brunch and lunch options, as well as a selection of hot and cold drinks.

Novo Club, Cheltenham

Located on Montpellier Street, Cheltenham's foodie scene is gaining another new addition, as the owners of Moreton-in-Marsh's popular Italian restaurant, Bellini, open their brand-new venue, Novo Clubin July 2023. 

Visitors can expect a Mediterranean style menu with dishes such as anchovy butter with fresh toasted bread, crispy duck and feta filo and homemade tiramisu – all served alongside wine, beers and more.

The Bump to Baby Chapter, Cheltenham

Established in 2016 by Gloucestershire NHS midwife, Beth Kitt, The Bump to Baby Chapter offers experienced advice, guidance and support to parents-to-be — and it's opening its newest venue in Cheltenham on Friday 7 July 2023.

The venue will be offering pregnant women and new parents a collection of services, classes and events all within one space to nurture and support them as they grow from bump to baby.

Tabu, Bishop's Cleeve 

The long-awaited Tabu Wine and Cocktail Lounge, located on the Homelands commercial estate in Bishop's Cleeve, is finally opening its doors to revellers on Friday 7 July 2023.

A welcome addition to the village, diners can look forward to wine, cocktails, both cheese and chocolate fondue and tapas at this sumptuous new bar.

Mooboo, Cheltenham

Cheltenham's Regent Arcade is set to gain another new addition with the opening of Mooboo Bubble Tea.

Dubbing itself 'the best bubble tea in the UK', customers can get their hands on drinks ranging from classic milk and fruit teas to unique specials and mocktails. And while an opening date is yet to be confirmed, it is expected to open in July 2023. 

Alchemy 16, Cheltenham 

Designed by a qualified sports scientist, Alchemy 16 is a one-of-a-kind private fitness and luxury wellness studio, set to open on Cheltenham's Imperial Square in July 2023.

While the official opening date is yet to be confirmed, the Grade II listed building is set to be kitted out with top range equipment such as a handmade YA'FI vegan leather punch bag and the world's most advanced indoor bike designed by NOHrD – as well as offering specially tailored personal training and wellbeing services for clients.
