From small organisations making a big local impact to powerhouses holding their own on the international stage, 16i has supported a range of brilliant businesses in Gloucestershire – creating impressive websites, apps and bespoke software solutions.

In this hot list, SoGlos has handpicked some of the most forward-thinking, innovative and beautiful looking websites that 16i has designed and developed for local companies.

Everyman Theatre

Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre is one of Gloucestershire’s most well-loved organisations, staging a wide variety of shows from independent productions to West End smash hits.

16i designed a modern website for the Everyman Theatre with a seamless interface between the box office and the website, streamlining processes behind the scenes, simplifying the user journey and facilitating an increase in online sales from 25 to 75 per cent.

Elmore Court

Elmore Court is a prestigious wedding venue with gorgeous grounds, near Gloucester. 16i worked closely with the Elmore Court team to design a stunning website with full-width, high end imagery reflecting the brand’s aesthetic. Hand-drawn illustrations bring the site to life in a stylish way while a streamlined enquiry form encourages visitors to get in touch.

The site also features a new event management platform, which allows happy couples to create and share their own wedding microsite, all contained within the Elmore Court site.

Happiness Lab is a unique platform that helps businesses understand and improve how happy their employees feel. 16i has been involved in planning, designing and developing an interface that is both easy to use and intuitive, as well as scalable.

16i created a robust, but flexible platform that can handle high levels of user interaction and complex reporting needs, as well as providing ongoing maintenance, updates and regularly developing new features.

Specialist Aviation Services

Providing support to major organisations which rely on aircraft, including the emergency services, Specialist Aviation Services wanted its website to have a premium look and feel and a responsive design, to bolster its position as a leader in the field.

The team at 16i created a slick new site with user experience in mind, featuring embedded videos, a historical timeline, creative images and a dedicated recruitment section where candidates can upload their CV, feeding into an existing CMS.

Theatrebarn

Building not just its website but its brand from scratch, 16i has helped Theatrebarn, just across the Gloucestershire border in Bretforton, establish its online presence. From creative workshops to work out the branding design, to developing a website that allows customers to buy tickets through the same payment system it uses for in-house purchases on show nights, 16i has created a stylish and functional site for the company.

With key features including ‘coming up’ cards to promote future performances, as well as an accessible user experience, 16i has worked closely with the client to ensure the technical requirements have been communicated in plain English – with Theatrebarn general manager, Andrew Macduff, saying he ‘couldn’t speak highly enough’ of 16i.

University of Gloucestershire

In order to show off the range of courses at the University of Gloucestershire at higher and further education fairs, it worked with 16i to create a bespoke standalone iPad app.

Designed to work offline to overcome WiFi issues, the easy-to-use app incorporated video, high quality imagery and vibrant branding. It was pre-loaded onto iPad Pros and then optimised for iPad Air, to enable event staff to effortlessly show off everything the university has to offer.

SoGlos

As Gloucestershire’s leading media brand, SoGlos needed a website which could keep up with its ever-expanding audience, as well as looking great and providing an excellent user experience.

16i rebuilt the front end of the site to make it responsive and add new functionality to key sections, striking the right balance between creating premium advertising space and ensuring SoGlos readers get the best possible experience, right across the site.
