Social Media Monetisation Unlocked event at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham

A free one-day workshop from international business coach, Adam Stott, 'Social Media Monetisation' is taking place at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Cheltenham on Thursday 1 February 2024.

From 9am to 5pm, and completely free of charge, business owners will learn how to use social media effectively to drive profits; discovering how to build an audience; connect with followers; market efficiently through posts; and explore new income-generating strategies. Property and Devlopment Networking event at Gloucester Rugby

One of the county's most popular venues, Gloucester Rugby is kicking the business month off by hosting the Property and Development Networking event from 9.30am to 11am on Friday 2 February 2024.

This event is for anyone working or interested in the property and development sector, with a yet-to-be revealed guest speaker set to offer insights and inspiration on their specialist subject of 'bridging loans'. Breakfast, tea, coffee and fresh juice will be served, with tickets for £22.50 per person on Eventbrite. 

Gloucestershire Engineering Training open evening

Individuals interested in engineering are invited to take a guided tour of the sector’s specialist training centre, Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET), on Thursday 8 February 2024. The highly respected centre on Corinium Avenue, in Gloucester, develops the current and next generation of staff for some of county’s very best companies, big and small. 

As well as being shown around the facilities, visitors will have the chance to chat to staff members, meet current apprentices and see demonstrations of the kind of work GET helps companies excel at. The open evening runs from 4pm to 6pm and is free of charge, with timed slots available to book via Eventbrite.

How to review your website and improve SEO seminar at Cirencester Growth Hub

Delivered by Gloucestershire-based marketing and web expert, Ben Kinnaird from Rather Inventive, this SEO masterclass is just one of a plethora of interesting events staged by the county-wide Growth Hub across its network every month.

Taking place on Tuesday 13 February 2024, from 10am to 1pm at Cirencester Growth Hub, delegates will learn how to improve the ranking of their website on Google; research keywords and see what their competitors are up to; understand the Google search function; structure their website's pages more effectively; and much more. As always, Growth Hub workshops are free to attend, and tickets are available from the website.

Fall in love with your website this Valentine's Day as the Forest of Dean Growth Hub hosts a workshop all about having an effective website which is positioned exactly for your business and highlights your unique selling points.

From 2pm to 4.30pm on Wednesday 14 February 2024, Richard Hubble from Cotswold Digital Solutions will be discussing the pros and cons of DIY web design versus outsourcing; highlighting website design best practice; and showing you how to maximise SEO and overall effectiveness. Big Google changes in 2024 workshop at Tewkesbury Growth Hub

Hosted by digital marketer Rich Brown from Quick by Design, this workshop on Tuesday 20 February 2024 will talk about the groundbreaking changes coming to the Google search engine this year.

Google’s search generative experience (SGE) is arriving soon, and analysts are predicting that the average website could lose about 40 per cent of its organic traffic, with Google giving chatbot-style responses to search queries. Cheltenham Business Networking Lunch at Chelsea Brasserie

The Business Growth Network is hosting its monthly big lunch at Chelsea Brasserie in Montpellier in Cheltenham on Wednesday 28 February 2024 from 12pm to 2.30pm.

The Gloucestershire Business Show 2024 at the University of Gloucestershire

On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 February 2024, The Gloucestershire Business Show takes over the events spaces at the University of Gloucestershire's Oxstalls campus for its big annual festival.

Encompassing exhibitors stands with merch galore, live talks, workshops and networking events throughout the full two days, it's a chance for attendees to exchange information with businesses from across all industries. The event takes place from 10am to 4pm on both exhibition days, with some events pre-bookable in advance.
