Gloucestershire Young Professionals November social at Roxy Lanes Cheltenham

Taking place at the newly opened and hottest activity venue in Cheltenham, Roxy Lanes, the Gloucestershire Young Professionals November social event offers networking and socialising over a game of bowling, a bat in the baseball cage and many more adrenaline-pumping activities, perfect for breaking the ice and meeting new contacts.

The social is on Thursday 9 November 2023, from 6pm until late. The dress code is smart casual and three representatives from each business can come along together. Tickets are available on Eventbrite, costing £16.96 and include a glass of prosecco on arrival, all activities at Roxy Lanes and access to the attendee list. 

Gloucestershire women in business lunch at Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham

The Gloucestershire women in business lunch takes place at the gorgeous Manor by the Lake hotel in Hatherley on Thursday 9 November 2023 from 11.45am to 2pm. With a two-course lunch in a luxurious private dining room, networking and a leadership talk by the author of Revolting Women: why women walk out (and what to do about it), Dr Lucy Ryan, the event hopes to help establish new connections and build working relationships and friendships, as well as developing existing ones.

Attendance numbers are capped at 24 so that everyone gets the chance to connect. Tickets are available on Eventbrite and cost £37.48, including a two-course lunch plus tea and coffee.

National Growth Exhibition and conference at Cheltenham Racecourse

On Wednesday 15 November 2023 from 10am to 6pm, the National Growth Exhibition is taking over Cheltenham Racecourse for a full day of browsing exhibitor's stalls and networking over coffee, pastries and lunch.

Hosted by The Business Growth Network, the event features over 70 stalls, the chance to listen to guest speakers and network with a plethora of local and national businesses. The event is free to attend but some talks are paid-for in advance — a lunch ticket costs £15, or spend £20 for the exhibitor and VIP drinks after party, from 4pm. Hack::Cheltenham at IOActive Hardware Lab in Bishop's Cleeve

Hack::Cheltenham is a brand-new cyber networking event hosted at Cheltenham Hardware Lab at the Furlong Business Park in Bishop's Cleeve.

Set up for the cyber security and hacking community to discuss all things security over food and drinks, Ivan Reedman, who is IOActive's director of secure engineering, is presenting at the inaugural event which takes place on Thursday 16 November 2023, from 6pm to 9pm. This event is free to attend, with tickets available on Eventbrite.

Women in leadership business growth event at St Edward's School in Cheltenham

The next Women in Leadership Business Growth event takes place at St Edward's School in Charlton Kings and will raise vital funds for The Nelson Trust, a charity based in Brimscombe near Stroud for women in recovery.

Kicking off from 4.15pm to 6.30pm on Thursday 23 November 2023, the event features keynote speeches from Emma Summers, founder and CEO of Juice Recruitment and SGGBA Business Leader of the Year 2023, Lucy Beresford of SLG BrandsTickets cost £10 from The Nelson Trust website.

Sterling Gloucestershire Expo at Kingsholm Stadium in Gloucester

The Sterling Gloucestershire Expo on Tuesday 28 November 2023 at Kingsholm is free to attend — but an extra £20 will get you one of its legendary big breakfasts or big lunches. 

Opening its doors at 9am and continuing until 1pm, the expo kicks off with networking for local businesses, followed by an exhibition with stands for a number of exclusive exhibitors. Tickets are available to book via Eventbrite.

Gloucester Growth Hub 10th Annual Festive Fayre at the University of Gloucestershire

In its 10th year, The Growth Hub is holding its annual Festive Fayre at the Oxstalls Campus, University of Gloucestershire, on Tuesday 28 November 2023.

From 10am to 4pm, and completely free to attend, the event promises stalls galore, brimming with local businesses, local community groups and University of Gloucestershire student societies.
