In a year in which it is also celebrating 25 years in business, Assured Futures has scooped a major insurance industry award.

The 125 staff at the Cheltenham-based life and health insurance adviser came top in Legal & General’s annual Business Quality Awards in the Outstanding Customer Care (large company) category.

Assured Futures was also shortlisted in two other categories, Data Precision and Outstanding Performance, at an event which recognises ‘standout customer service and retention of business’.

Ian Sawyer, commercial director at the Shurdington Road firm, said: ‘We are delighted to win this award and be recognised in the face of such tough competition.’

He added: ‘We are excited for the future and our growth plans enable us to continue to recruit more people in the Gloucestershire area in the year ahead.’

Craig Brown, a director at Legal & General, said: ‘This year is particularly poignant given how the industry has adapted to the many challenges presented by Covid-19 and we received a record number of entries, and submissions were of an outstanding quality.’

Assured Futures can lay claim to being the oldest protection broker (advising consumers on life insurance, private medical insurance, income protection, accident sickness and unemployment cover) in the UK.

Its products help protect an estimated 225,000 customers.
