One of Gloucestershire’s leading and most high profile accountancy firms, Randall & Payne, has acquired Gloucester-based Little and Company.

The 14-strong team is being merged into Randall & Payne and will relocate to its offices at Chargrove House on Shurdington Road after six months.

According to both sides the move will see Little and Company and their clients benefit from Randall & Payne’s technology and specialists in areas including corporate finance for valuations, acquisitions and financing, corporate tax services including VAT, and business coaching services.

Tim Watkins, managing partner of Randall & Payne, said: ‘The past year has reinforced for everyone how important making the most of the opportunities presented to us is and not letting barriers to success stand in our way.

‘We are really pleased that all of the team are staying on board with us, ensuring our high level of service is maintained.’

Simon Dudfield and Nicholas Gratton, partners at Little and Company, which was based in Park Road, Gloucester, specialise in providing advice to doctors, solicitors and the agricultural sector.

Mr Dudfield said: ‘We have known the partners of Randall & Payne for a long time; they are a very well established and respected firm of accountants, business advisors and tax specialists who come from similar roots to ours.

‘We are convinced there will be considerable benefits from joining forces to offer a broad range of specialist services to our clients and the wider business community.’
