Authorised Duracell licensee, Puredrive Energy, is opening its first ever store at Cavendish House in Cheltenham this June 2024.

It brings the independent market-style offering up a notch, with the big multi-national brand opening at the store on Thursday 6 June 2024.

Interest in the prominent town centre site has grown since House of Fraser left Cavendish House in April 2024. Puredrive Energy is joining nearly 30 pop-up stalls which have opened within the last fortnight.

The latest new opening means members of the public can find out more about how they can save money on their home energy bills via the range of Duracell Energy products.

As the demand for more reliable and cleaner energy to power homes continues to grow, and pressure on the national grid capabilities continue to be squeezed, home energy management has become a hot topic over recent years.

Cheltenham-based Puredrive Energy launched the suite of Duracell Energy products to the UK market back in March 2024 at the Fully Charged Show, London.

The range of battery storage solutions includes EV charging with full integration to help homeowners lower the cost of their bills as well as reducing their carbon footprint.

Puredrive Energy CEO, Mark Millar, is thrilled with the opening.

He said: 'This is the first time in our company’s history we will have boots on the ground within a fixed location.  As a growing business based in Cheltenham, with a large portion of our staff we employ coming from the local area, we couldn’t think of a more historic and fitting location than Cavendish House as the ideal choice for our first fixed hub.

'The first ever Duracell Energy store will be a hub to support homeowners in making an informed decision on home battery solutions in order to save money on their energy as well as minimise their environmental impact.

'Amid uncertainty within the energy market and the increased dependency on the national grid, customers will be able to obtain a quote for our home battery storage solutions from our own dedicated Duracell Energy team.'

Puredrive Energy was founded by UK Government battery storage expert, Mark Millar, in 2016. The company’s mission is bring high performing home storage batteries to the domestic market, and to supply products and services that reduce people’s energy bills and carbon footprint.
