Lodders’ managing partner Paul Mourton said each of the new partners bring 'exceptional skills and dedication' along with 'fresh perspective and ideas' to the firm's partnership.

Gloucestershire law firm Lodders has promoted four of its lawyers to partner this July 2025, with the completion of its inaugural 'Path to Partnership' programme.

Vicki Gulliver in the private client team, Sharon Crosby in the care and capacity team, and Dan MacLeod and Lee Thompson in the real estate group have all joined the partnership, which is now made up of 27 partners across its practice areas.

Lodders, which has offices across the West Midlands and in Cheltenham, launched its 12-month leadership course last year, with a view to developing future leaders within the firm.

Its 'fresh approach' to partnership development combines internal practical training sessions and events with an external programme of neuroscience-based strategic leadership training, led by executive coach Steve Weiner and colleagues of London-based SW Learning.

The programme culminated in a formal written application, interview process and live role-play scenario, designed to evaluate final candidates' readiness for partnership.

People and culture director Grace Walton, who developed the programme, said: 'This programme represents a real shift in how we support career progression at Lodders.

'Rather than simply being told they are ready for partnership, our participants experienced a year of formal development that has truly prepared them for the responsibilities ahead.'

Managing partner Paul Mourton added: 'We are incredibly proud to announce the promotions of Vicki, Sharon, Dan and Lee to the Lodders partnership.

'These promotions not only strengthen our leadership pipeline but also reinforce our commitment to developing talent from within.'
