So it may come as no surprise that Stroud's Five Valleys Shopping Centre is welcoming a pre-loved clothing brand on to its roster of top stores and eateries.
After a series of successful pop-ups in the Five Valleys camper van, Vintage Vibes has seen its fan base grow among style-savvy young shoppers, prompting it to put down permanent roots at the shopping destination.
Run by husband and wife team Helen and Matt Kloiber, the 'fashion-focused' vintage and preloved clothing brand offers a unique mix of 'repurposed fashion pieces, end-of-line styles and high-quality preloved staples', from t-shirts and shorts to sweatshirts and baseball caps.
The brand's first ever store is opening in the centre's newly extended retail space next to Santander in the upper mall area, on Friday 1 August 2025 – with a special DJ set marking the launch.
Shoppers can expect brands such as Nike, Stussy, Ed Hardy and Carhartt, all reclaimed with Helen and Matt's 'signature touch of sustainable cool.'
Helen said: 'What started out as us trying something a little different has really taken off and we’re so excited to be taking this next step for the business.
'The new store will be a space that reflects our love of great style, creativity and pre-loved shopping – we really can’t wait to open the doors!'
Rough Hands Cafe is also expanding at Five Valleys, relocating to another newly created retail unit next to Vintage Vibes.
