Having first launched in Cheltenham back in 2014 – and since expanding to locations across the UK – financial planning and advice firm rockwealth is celebrating 12 years of success in business with the launch of a second office in Gloucestershire, with rockwealth Cotswolds launching this March 2026.
Situated within The Wool Market in Cirencester, and headed up by industry stalwarts Nicola Floyd and Andy Collett, the new rockwealth office will serve new and existing clients in and around the Cotswolds – with services including financial planning, retirement planning and tax planning, through to investment management, estate planning and more.
Nicola Floyd has lived in the Cotswolds for seven years and spent more than two decades in finance across two continents: investment banking in Hong Kong, Bangkok and New York; private client fund management in London; as well as stints in corporate governance, philanthropy and impact investing. Having discovered rockwealth online, something clicked. 'The company's values very strongly align with my own professional values. I think that is quite rare,' Nicola said.
While Andy Collett arrived at the same conclusion from a different direction. Having spent 20 years in financial planning working within both large and small firms he wanted to build something of his own, where he could have a greater degree of control over how advice is delivered to clients and where he can have the greatest impact.
With a shared frustration of an industry which they say all too often overcomplicates things, charge too much and puts products ahead of people, the duo have come together at rockwealth Cotswolds to do things differently in three distinct ways.
Fixed fees
While most financial advisers charge a percentage of whatever you have invested, so the more your money grows, the more they take – instead, rockwealth charges a fixed annual fee in pounds and pence. You know what you're paying before you start and there are no hidden charges in the small print. As Nicola puts it: 'Being very clear and upfront about fees is a very important part of building trust.'
How your money gets invested
The traditional approach relies on fund managers picking stocks and trying to beat the market, however, rockwealth's model draws on decades of academic research, which show the vast majority fail to do so over the long run. Using an evidence-based investment approach instead means low-cost, diversified funds that capture broad market returns without the guesswork or more hefty price tag.
True independence
rockwealth is truly independent and offers clients a personalised and tailored service. Unlike many other firms, rockwealth is not tied to specific products or commission incentives, which means its recommendations are driven by clients' goals. Its philosophy is that financial planning is about more than finances – it's about what your finances can achieve for you. The firm's advisors start with what do you actually want your life to look like? The plan follows from there.
