The Scandinavian Coffee Pod has been a firm favourite in Cheltenham since its arrival in September 2014.

Now the popular pod, based at The Studios on Royal Well Place, is opening a second venue at Gloucester Food Dock this December 2023.

The Cheltenham Pod offers ethically-sourced coffee, espresso and V60 filter options, alongside locally-sourced cakes and pastries, with gluten-free and vegan options.

When it opens in Gloucester next month, coffee fans will be able enjoy freshly roasted, seasonal blends surrounded by Scandi design details.

In a hugely popular post on Instagram, hinting at the move, The Scandinavian Coffee Pod announced: 'Something exciting is brewing.'

The new Gloucester Food Dock base is expected to follow a similar design to the Cheltenham HQ, with a strong ethos of keeping things simple, clean and free from visual clutter in order to keep the focus on the star of the show — the coffee.

It'll join the Food Dock's two latest openings, Bella Mia Pizza @ No.1 and Green Door @ No. 1, which both opened earlier this month, following on from the launch of the Wholly Gelato ice cream parlour on Saturday 4 November 2023.

Four more businesses opening in the coming weeks include Hetty’s PlaceElote tacos, Chuck burgers and Our House by Sibling Distillery, too.
