Pride in Gloucestershire is set to build on the success of last year’s Gloucester event by hosting an exciting new Pride Day in Cheltenham this spring.

Set to take place in Pittville Park on Sunday 12 May 2019, the family-friendly picnic will be the town’s first Pride event in a decade and will offer a more relaxed affair compared to its Gloucester counterpart.

Against the backdrop of the historic Pump Room, visitors can expect live music, stalls, a dog show, and food and drink on Pittville lawn, and will offer a fun-filled event for all to enjoy.

Jordan Bonner, marketing manager for Pride in Gloucestershire said: ‘we have worked closely with Cheltenham Borough Council and Cheltenham Borough Homes to get this event going. Both the council and Pride are excited to be able to offer the LGBT+ community a safe space to celebrate and reflect.’

Gloucester Pride Day is returning for its second year organised by Pride in Gloucestershire on Saturday 14 September 2019 at Gloucester Park, with further details still to be announced.
