Gloucestershire river cruise company, English Holiday Cruises, will be one of the first in the UK to set sail following the latest lockdown.

The Gloucester-based company will start their season on Monday 17 May 2021 in line with government guidelines, making them one of the first river cruise companies in the UK to start sailing again.

The business has implemented a number of Covid-19 secure measures, including pre-boarding health checks, baggage sanitising, contactless check-in and providing hand sanitiser, to help keep passengers safe.

English Holiday Cruises owner, Richard Clements, said: ‘Usually, guests relax, enjoy the scenery, eat far more than they would at home and visit some of the finest sights in the West of England but now there’s a new dimension to their holidays with us.’

For those who are dreaming of setting sail, cruise packages start from £315 per person for a weekend cruise through the Cotswolds Severn Vale, with cruises departing from Monday 17 May 2021.
