Set off on a mystery road trip through the Cotswolds, joining a car rally for a good cause.

Join an epic road trip across the Cotswolds, discovering secret locations and beauty spots on this unique navigational car rally, hosted by Gloucestershire Community Foundation with support from lead sponsor, Oasis Events.

A charity event with a difference, GFC's Great Escape car rally aims to raise vital funds for Gloucestershire's rural communities, while highlighting the specific challenges of rural living and the work that local charities do to support the people that face them.

Meeting at Berrybank Park amphitheatre between 9.30am and 10am, everyone's invited to join a full day rally through the Cotswolds on Sunday 25 June 2023, exploring the hidden gems of Gloucestershire's gorgeous countryside.

The mystery route will be revealed on the drive, with a navigational quiz to work through with your co-driver to find your way – but participants can expect to finish between 4pm and 5pm at The Classic Motor Hub in Bibury.

Expect surprises en route, including a visit to a very special private venue, as well as plenty of opportunities to explore what's on your doorstep.

The car rally is competitive but focuses on discovery rather than speed. The way to win is to take your time and keep your eyes peeled along the journey, to answer the most quiz questions correctly for the chance to win prizes – ranging from tickets to performances at Berrybank Park, to an escape room experience at climbing and outdoor centre Far Peak!

GCF's Great Escape car rally supports local charities The Churn Project, which aims to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing for the Cirencester community; Play Gloucestershire, which creates active and creative play opportunities for children across rural and urban Gloucestershire; and Cotswold Friends, which provides community transport, befriending, community activities, intergenerational projects and carer, hospital and independent support to reduce isolation and loneliness for older people.

Tickets cost £80 per person for the driver and co-driver, with extra passengers charged at £60 per person. There's a discount for anyone who fills a car and children over 10 years old are welcome.

The price includes breakfast at the amphitheatre, with contributions from artisan bakery Otis & Belle; refreshment stops along the way; and three-course meal at the finishing point, served by Cotswold caterer The Travelling Kitchen.

All cars are welcome to join the rally, with classic and super cars setting off on the route first.

GFC's Great Escape, supported by Oasis Events, is taking place on Sunday 25 June 2023.
