Thanks to unprecedented audience demand, the Barn Theatre in Cirencester is bringing a brand-new production of Million Dollar Quartet to the stage this summer 2026 for an epic 10-week run.

First performed at the Barn in 2022, the showstopping production was a huge hit with Gloucestershire audiences and is the one show they've been requesting to return ever since – and the new production promises to be 'more rock 'n' roll than ever', with West End star, Darren Day, taking the role of legendary record producer Sam Phillips.

Million Dollar Quartet transports audiences back to the fateful night in December 1956 when Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley made musical history.

Their chance jam session at a recording studio in Memphis changed the trajectory of rock 'n' roll forever – but wasn't without drama, as 'dreams were made and egos clashed' between these four powerhouse musicians.

Starring alongside Darren Day are 2022 audience favourite Joe Bence, who reprises his role as Jerry Lee Lewis, Connor Payne as Elvis Presley, Christopher Erasmus as Johnny Cash, Joey Bradick as Carl Perkins, and fresh from MJ The Musical, Jenay Naima stars as Dyanne – with the new production directed by Jonathan O'Boyle.

The show is underpinned by an iconic soundtrack including 'Blue Suede Shoes', 'Great Balls of Fire', 'Fever', 'Hound Dog' and 'I Walk The Line' performed live by this talented cast.

Barn CEO and artistic director, Iwan Lewis, said: 'To complete our 2026 season, we’re thrilled to be welcoming back Million Dollar Quartet in a bold, brand-new production that’s bigger, louder and more electrifying than ever.

'It was a huge hit with our audiences last time, and bringing fresh life to one of the most legendary jam sessions in rock and roll history for a ten-week summer run at the Barn felt irresistible.'

Million Dollar Quartet opens at Barn Theatre in Cirencester on Monday 15 June and runs until Saturday 22 August 2026.

Tickets cost from £19 for adults for the first two weeks of the run, rising to from £26 for adults and from £20 for children thereafter, with the show recommended for those aged 10-years-old and above.
