One of the UK's most popular TV comedians, Josh Widdicombe, reveals he is bringing his new stand-up show Not My Cup of Tea to Cheltenham in 2026.

The top comedian, podcaster and TV host is heading out on tour in September 2025, visiting popular venues in all corners of England, Scotland and Wales over the course of 10 months.

The co-host of award-winning Channel 4 series The Last Leg and hugely popular podcast Parenting Hell is due to perform at Cheltenham Town Hall on Monday 11 May 2026.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of his arena tour for Parenting Hell, which he co-hosts with fellow TV comedian Rob Beckett, in 2023.

His previous stand-up tour in 2022, Bit Much, culminated in a recorded performance at the London Palladium, which is currently available on Sky and NowTV.

Josh has been a TV panel show regular for years now, with multiple appearances on the likes of QI, Live At The Apollo, A League Of Their Own and Have I Got News For You, as well as performing onstage at the Royal Albert Hall for The Royal Variety Performance.

In 2021, he released his first book Watching Neighbours Twice a Day…How 90’s TV (Almost) Prepared Me For Life — a childhood memoir about growing up watching TV in the 90s — which was a Sunday Times Bestseller.

He also topped the Sunday Times charts with Rob Beckett with their Parenting Hell book in 2022.

Josh is described as 'a witty, relatable observer of life’s foibles with a keen eye for the absurd side of the mundane.'

In Not My Cup of Teahe takes stock of the little things that niggle him, from motorway hotels to children’s parties.

He said of what to expect from the show: 'If there is a theme it’s probably about accepting that I prefer being at home and not having to deal with any other human beings.

'Which is a weird way to approach a tour show where you have to travel around the country talking to thousands of people!'

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday 20 September 2024, with those for the Cheltenham show available through the town hall website.
