Tails will be wagging all over Gloucestershire at the news a Doggie Brunch has been launched at Tewkesbury Park Hotel – welcoming dog of all shapes and sizes.

Set-up in the Piano Lounge, the plush Tewkesbury hotel’s allocated dog area, the brunch is available on Sundays from 11.30am to 3pm, at a cost of £20 for adult, £10 for children aged 5-12-years, while under 5s and dogs go free!

Organisers said ‘the team have recognised that where the owner goes, so does their best friend!’

Humans can help themselves to the buffet-style brunch in the nearby Mint restaurant, with breakfast staples such as eggs benedict with jerk-spiced pulled pork, and smoked haddock, spring onion and saffron kedgeree on offer.

There’s also make-your-own salad boards, smoothies and other appetising dishes on offer, in addition to a dedicated pudding table with mini-puds, warm waffles with a selection of toppings, and a Willy Wonka-style chocolate fountain.

For the pampered pooch, meanwhile, organisers say there’s sausages a-plenty and a Kilner jar of dog treats too. Plus, there’s 165 acres of stunning grounds to explore at Tewkesbury Park Hotel for walkies afterwards.
