Bourton-on-the-Water's popular coffee and cake spot, Bakery on the Water, is opening a brand-new outside terrace bar, right on the banks of the River Windrush, this June.
Easily one of the Cotswolds' prettiest locations for alfresco drinks this summer, the new River Shack bar opens on Friday 14 June 2024 with a menu of refreshing cocktails, local ales and sharing boards curated with local produce.
Look forward to sipping cocktails under the twinkling string lights, from Italy's favourite aperitif, the Aperol spritz, to iconically British Pimm's — and if you prefer a pint, the bar is proud to serve a selection of Cotswold ales, too.
Peckish visitors can also tuck into sharing boards stacked with vegetable crudites, charcuterie and regional cheeses from 6pm onwards.
Described as a 'natural extension' from Bakery on the Water's offering, the River Shack celebrates the best local produce and promises a warm welcome, with community spirit at its core.
The River Shack at Bakery on the Water is open every Friday and Saturday from 3pm to 11pm. Reservations aren't required.
