The Dug Out Café at Burrow's Field has opened in partnership with Leckhampton Rovers FC.

An exciting new venture is bringing coffee and football lovers together at The Dug Out Café at Burrow's Field in Cheltenham.

Opening on Wednesday 10 May 2023 at the home of local football club, the Leckhampton Rovers, The Dug Out Café has an obvious football theme, but is also a warm and welcoming space for the public to sit and relax alongside members of the football club.

Collaborating with popular mobile coffee van, King Shots Coffee, the café is serving up its specialty Fire and Flow coffee, as well as a range of teas, delicious hot chocolate and indulgent milkshakes.

There are also a range of homemade bakes including Ferrero Rocher brownies and lemon meringue blondies up for grabs, with seasonal options being created to make the most of the fresh produce available in Gloucestershire.

A strong relationship has formed between King Shots Coffee and the Rovers, through its mutual love of coffee from Cotswolds roasters, Fire and Flow coffee, that's regularly served at the football club's academy sessions on Saturday mornings.

The van also counts Jeremy Clarkson and Great British Bake Off star, Prue Leith as fans.

Founder of King Shots Coffee, Chris Kingshott, said: 'I am very excited to open the new café and provide incredible coffee and homemade treats. I aim to source our products locally as much as possible and offer seasonal varieties. Come down and say hi in the week as well as at the weekends. We're aiming to create a great atmosphere and to serve the best refreshments for miles!'

The café is open weekly from Wednesday to Sunday from 9am until 5pm.
