Prosecco in the Park in Gloucester Park has been postponed for 2019.

The corks will not be popping at Gloucester Park’s Prosecco in the Park, as the event has been cancelled with just a few days’ notice.

Prosecco in the Park was due to take place in Gloucester Park from Friday 28 June to Sunday 30 June 2019, but has been postponed until further notice.

The team behind the event has apologised for any inconvenience caused. Matt Bates, managing director of the firm running the event, ASL, has said: ‘We absolutely want to bring Prosecco in the Park to Gloucester City in the very near future, however despite the best advice and support from the local council, we feel the event requires greater exploration in order to ensure it runs successfully and has the attributes required for a great family event staged in the ideal location in future years.’

Organisers have said anyone who has already purchased tickets to Prosecco in the Park in Gloucester Park will automatically be refunded from Monday 1 July 2019.

Alternatively, anyone wishing to attend a different Prosecco in the Park event being held elsewhere in the country can use their Gloucester Park ticket to obtain entry. Other venues include Northampton, Abingdon, Hereford, Oxford and Chichester.

Those wishing to attend an alternative event need to email grace@arenasportlive.com to arrange an exchange.
