Gloucester chef Tom Kerridge released the first episode of his ‘Lock Down Dinners’ video series on Thursday 26 March 2020, inspiring people to get creative in the kitchen during the UK’s Coronavirus lockdown.

The videos, aired on Tom’s Pub in the Park YouTube channel, demonstrate how to use up standard fridge ingredients, transforming lacklustre leftovers into delightful dinners and thus reducing the need for frequent supermarket trips.

In the first episode, Tom whips up a tasty omelette using a selection of fridge ingredients, from cherry tomatoes and chilli to a scotch egg!

Viewers are encouraged to share their own culinary creations on social media, using the hashtag #LockdownDinners.
