The ultimate dog-lovers festival will take over Cirencester Park for the first time ever this August, when A Doggy Day Out brings The Big Bark to Gloucestershire — promising a packed weekend of tail-wagging fun.
Taking place on the Bathurst Estate on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 August 2025 from 10am to 5pm, the weekend features a variety of interactive activities for four-legged friends and their human companions, too.
Across the canine-centred festival, let your dog try their paw at exciting activities and training sessions; watch expert trainers, agility stars and working dogs in action; chat with top dog trainers, nutritionists and wellbeing specialists to give your pup the best life; and explore a selection of pet-friendly stalls with everything from tasty treats to snazzy accessories.
In the Puppy Zone, designed specifically for dogs aged 12 months and under, young pups can let their boundless energy run wild with a selection of essential training games, enrichment activities to promote confidence, plus training advice and support too.
Expect youngster friendly activities, socialisation opportunities, a chance to chat with behaviourists and more — great for kids to learn all about their new best friend.
In the Have-a-Go show ring, you and your pooch can enjoy plenty of fun together with activities including agility, hoopers, flyball, scurry and scent work helping you to increase the bond with your furry buddy.
After all the fun, relax at the grassy picnic areas, refuel with delicious street food and refreshments — and don't miss Wags Cafe for puppuccinos, too!
As well as the exciting host of activities organised for pooches and their owners, attendees will be supporting the fantastic work that the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA) do, helping dogs in need.
