John Lewis has announced it will reopen its Cheltenham department store on Thursday 18 June 2020.

John Lewis & Partners Cheltenham will be one of the first stores to welcome customers back, after closing on Monday 23 March 2020 due to the Coronavirus lockdown.

Chosen for its accessibility by car, the Gloucestershire department store is one of only 13 John Lewis & Partners stores set to reopen on that day, with more opening planned for the summer providing there isn’t a sharp rise in Coronavirus cases.

Social distancing measures will be introduced at John Lewis & Partners Cheltenham, including a limit on the number of shoppers allowed in and protective screens at tills.

The café and fitting rooms will remain closed and beauty counter services will not be available.
