Whitminster House Holiday Cottages near Stroud is offering discounted stays to keyworkers

Staycationing keyworkers can enjoy 15 per cent off a rustic break at Whitminster House Holiday Cottages until February 2022.

With keyworkers keeping the country afloat during the hardest times during the pandemic, Whitminster House Cottages near Stroud is offering them a 15 per cent discount on stays until Monday 28 February 2022.

Separated into the Walk Farmhouse Group and the West Wing Group, Whitminster House Cottages offers eight self-catering holiday cottages surrounded by a picturesque country estate.

Ideally located on the edge of the Cotswolds, it makes a perfect base for all sorts of country pursuits. With plenty of glorious walks along the canal nearby and the SGGLA Family Day Out of the Year winner, Slimbridge Wetland Centre, just a short drive away, the cottages provide a rustic bolt-hole for couples and families looking for a cosy winter getaway.

The Walk Farmhouse Group accomodates up to 27 guests, with 12 in the Walk Farmhouse, nine in Walk House, three in Walk Close and three in Walk Farm Cottage.

While the West Wing Group sleeps up to 22, with 12 in the West Wing Apartment, four in the Old Stables, four in Lodge Cottage and two in the Harness Rooms. There’s also a party room with seating for up to 40 people.

Whitminster House is giving keyworkers a 15 per cent discount on autumn and winter stays in all of its holiday cottages when booked directly, with the offer extended to a broad range of keyworkers and their families, including health and social care; emergency services; armed forces; teachers; retail staff; delivery drivers; transport staff and more.

With many keyworkers continuing to work over the festive season, Whitminster House’s keyworker discount offers a wonderful opportunity for families to celebrate together either before or after Christmas in one of its charming rural cottages – with a long weekend break for four in the Lodge Cottage costing just £97 per person.
