Simply Gym in Cheltenham to open 24-hours

Cheltenham Gym, Simply Gym has announced plans to open 24-hours from the start of December 2018.

Simply Gym on Kingsditch Industrial Estate has revealed that it will open 24-hours per day from the start of December, and hopes to gain another 400 new members as a result of its changing hours.

The gym, which currently opens between 6am and 10pm during the week and from 8am until 6pm on weekends, will now be open throughout the day and night, and will be accessed via a pin pad entry system being installed in the coming weeks.

Current members will be able to enjoy the extra hours for the same monthly cost, with new members also welcome to join with no contract.

Andy Taylor is the manager of Simply Gym, and told SoGlos: ‘The work is being completed over the next six to eight weeks, so we’re hoping we’ll be open 24-hours from the start of December.

‘We recognised a niche in the market with Cheltenham not having a 24-hour gym and the frustration lots of locals faced when we were shut.

‘It’s great for those who work nights, or those early risers who like to work out before 6am. We quite often have people queuing up outside at 6am on a Monday morning, so it’ll be nice to give people the change to train at a more convenient time.’
