Cheltenham Racecourse is the jewel in jump racing’s crown, playing host to the best jumping horse racing action in the world from 350 spectacular acres, nestled within the beautiful Cotswold hills.

Whether on a crisp October day or a balmy evening in April, visitors are promised an experience they’ll never forget at Cheltenham Racecourse thanks to a unique combination of racing, setting, tradition, history and a shared sense of enjoyment.

While Cheltenham Racecourse is a stunning natural amphitheatre, it’s the undulations of the three courses, the test of fences and hurdles, and the fight to the finish up the legendary hill which combine to test racehorses and riders.

With three enclosures including The Best Mate, Tattersalls and Club, visitors have a range of viewing options and ticket prices to choose from.

The Best Mate enclosure, located directly opposite the grandstand, is excellent value for money, while the viewing steps in the Club and Tattersalls area offer a fantastic vantage point for soaking up the action by the finishing line.

The Racecourse also benefits from a new five-and-a-half storey grandstand, The Princess Royal Stand, opened in 2015 as part of a £45 million redevelopment of the course, allowing it to diversify into a destination for live music, conferences and festivals.

During 2018, the festival was home to the annual Wychwood Festival; Petlife Festival, featuring names like Jessie J and The Vamps; Fresh Art Fair; and the annual Race For Life, proving that Cheltenham is more than just a racecourse.

Offering world-class sporting action, great hospitality packages, plenty of entertainment, top-class food and drink outlets, and of course the chance to try your luck placing a bet, a visit to Cheltenham Racecourse promises the perfect day out, whether you’re visiting with friends, family or colleagues.
