Cheltenham Town Hall is Gloucestershire’s largest entertainment venue, which provides a unique backdrop for a jam-packed programme of events throughout the year, as well as private functions and corporate hospitality.
Enjoying a fantastic reputation for attracting the biggest names on the comedy circuit, Cheltenham Town Hall is the place to see live stand-up – with Jimmy Carr, Bill Bailey, Sarah Millican, Ed Byrne and Rhod Gilbert being just a few examples of the comics making regular appearances on its stage.
The impressive Main Hall, complete with its decorated coved ceiling and sprung floor, offers an ideal setting and acoustics for live music gigs and concerts. Music lovers can expect to soak up the sounds of everything from classical, jazz and world genres to rock, pop and folk.
While its comedy reputation may precede it, the venue also plays host to a diverse array of events spanning everything from superstar wrestling and vintage fairs to circus shows and guest speakers, including the likes of Ray Mears and Sandi Toksvig.
Plus, one-off shows and drama performances, not to mention annual festivals and exhibitions, always prove popular with discerning visitors, with the chance to enjoy a pre-show dinner and drinks in the Regency Café or Imperial Garden Bar during the warmer months.
